• Thursday 2nd July 2009, 7.30pm arrival and 9.00pm departure

• 20+ people including scouts, leaders, parents and siblings (the more the merrier)

• Merchandise etc will be available for sale on the night. Scouts may like to consider a gold coin for the tin!

Directions to CareFlight Base

CareFlight is at the END of Redbank Road which is the street next to “Pancakes” on James Ruse Drive (near Shell, McD’s, KFC, etc).

• Drive to the end of Redbank Road and over the bridge with the blue hand rails.

• Follow the road around to the right and left as it follows the back of the hospital 

BEFORE the boom gate you should turn right up towards the big green hanger with the “CareFlight” sign on it. If you reach the boom gate you have gone to far. Park on the right hand side on the gravel before the green shed. We will come out and meet you in the carpark at your designated time. Once in the carpark please congregate there – do not wander around the site 

It is an operational heliport and aircraft can arrive and depart without warning. 

If a Helicopter does start whilst you are there – wait in the carpark. Do not move up to the oval to watch as they use the oval for departure.
