What is a JOEY?

Joey Scouts is for boys and girls aged between 6 and 8 years. There are lots of fun activities that entertain and teach basic motor, craft skills, whilst encouraging communication and co-operation. Joeys is a unique and exciting way for children to learn about the environment, the community and their world while giving an introduction to scouting.

The meetings can consist of :

·         Craft

·         Games

·         Team Activities

·         Parent Participation Nights

Venue

Normally at Edison Parade, Winston Hills (off Oakes Road and behind basketball courts).

Winston Hills has two Joey leaders (Potoroo and Wombat) and meetings are on Monday evenings at 6:30pm and will run for an hour. We are currently looking for new Joey Scouts, to register your interest or for more information please contact us.
