THE LOST CITY

THE CHALLENGE

Patrols are to stay as a patrol. Scouts will seek, collect and find information in Bicentennial Park and Olympic Park. Patrols are to stick together as it is a team effort will be a must. Problem solving will be your friend. Directions will be given on and throughout the day. There will be people at specific sites that you can ask questions, go to for help. Remember you will be on show today, so make Parramatta District proud.

Your family will drop you off at Bicentennial Park. There is a one way street, just follow along, pass the information centre and buildings, the lake comes up on the left, look right and you will see us. Hill Pavilion. There are many free car spots.

Registration is at 12.30pm for a 1.00pm start. It will take approx 4 hours. All patrols will be back at 5.00pm. A BBQ and drink will be ready. Your parents and siblings are invited to join us. Please advise BBQ numbers at registration and the cost will be $5.00 per head. While the scouts are eating, the committee will be collating and scoring. We will finish with a closing parade and presentation. Gates close at 7.00pm

THERE IS A FOOT OVERBRIDGE FROM ONE PARK TO THE OTHER. YOU MUST STICK TO THE BRIDGE TO CROSS THE MAIN ROADS. NO SCOUT IS ALLOWED TO GROSS THE ROADS IN ANY OTHER WAY.

WHEN YOU GO ACROSS THE OVERBRIDGE FROM BICENTENNIAL PARK, TURN LEFT AND GO OVER THE ROAD AGAIN.

Things to remember:

Arrive 12.30pm -  BBQ 5.00pm -  Pick up 5.45pm approx

Think outside the square, have fun, keep alert, look around and be polite.
