Parramatta District Swimming Carnival Rules Page
Point Scheme:
Points will be awarded to the Groups as follows:

1 point per individual participator registered
4 points per Patrol registered (Minimum 4 Scouts)

Note: The above points will be averaged i.e. if you have 4 patrols with a total of 24 Scouts = 40 points. Then divide 40 by 4 patrols = 10 points awarded. If 1 patrol with 8 scouts is registered for your troop that = 12 points divided by 1 = a total of 12 points. So the more in your patrol, the more points.
1 point per parent helper registered

During the Carnival the points will be awarded for each heat as follows:

5 points for a win
3 points for second
1 point for third

Points will be awarded for each final as follows:

10 points for a win
6 points for second
2 point for third

Patrols should be made up of natural members only – outsiders/ring-ins will incur a penalty of 2 points per race per outsider/ring-in.

11. Lilo Chariot Relay Patrol (All)
12. Get-it-off Race (All - no points awarded)
13. Lilo Caravan Patrol (All - no points awarded)
